If those items fit you, sounds like you fit what we’re looking for! Our SxSquad College Rep internship is remote and is based around music/brand marketing that can vary between: artist releases throughout multiple genres, tours, one off events, and more.
Interns will be using social media and physical items such as posters, flyers, stickers, demo cd’s, download cards, small promotional items, stencils, and more to develop campaigns in their local markets with volunteers (if any are available). College Rep Responsibilities:
-Learn from and participate in physical/digital marketing campaigns to create awareness for artists + brands
-Offer creative insight and ideas to projects and demonstrate a high student mentality.
-Adapt to differentiating campaigns to determine proper target markets for each campaign
-Attend scheduled conference calls pre-, mid-, and/or post-campaign
-Develop personalized online marketing strategies through social media
-Attend and recap requested local music events (if any are happening in your market).
-Work with and help direct any volunteers apart of your market's team for each campaign.
-Develop reports of marketing efforts by yourself and any volunteers in your market
-Work independently and remotely from supervisors
-Travel to multiple locations in the city to distribute physical items
-Stay organized and meet deadlines
Qualifications for Internship
-Candidates must be currently enrolled in a college or university and eligible to receive academic credit
-Dedicate 12-16 hours a week to the internship
-Outgoing and personable; with strong written and verbal communication skills
-Above average computer skills and strong organizational skills
-Focused, hard working, reliable, dedicated, and motivated
-Have a passion for music, marketing, communications, and social media
-Must have min. 3 active social media accounts with active following
-Prior street team, street marketing, or sales experience is a plus but not necessary
